Interior min. contacts Pakistani counterpart on abducted border guards

TEHRAN (defapress) – Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has penned letter to his Pakistani counterpart, urging him to spare no effort for ensuring the safety and health of 14 Iranian border guards who were abducted and transferred to Pakistan by terrorists on Tuesday.

“Within the framework of amicable bilateral relations and the principle of good neighborliness, as well as security obligations between the two countries, it is imperative to carry out urgent joint operations," for the release of the abducted Iranian border guards, Rahmani Fazli added.
