Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Sweida

The Syrian Army forces continued advancing against ISIL on Monday, tightening noose on the terrorists trapped in Badiyeh of Sweida.

The army men, backed up by artillery and missile units, stormed ISIL from different flanks in the Eastern Badiyeh of Sweida, and captured Marqab Qabyan, Huwiya Qasin, al-Kasirah and Tal Abu Qanem regions.

The army men have, thus far, inflicted major casualties on the terrorists and destroyed a large volume of their equipment.

The ISIL is now trapped in an area as large as 250sq-km in Badiyeh.

Earlier reports said that the army engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in Eastern Badiyeh and captured several points, deploying forces at al-Ruhbah region.

The army men in Minqar al-Ruhbah have arrived at the positions of their comrades coming from al-Zalaf Dam flank and laid siege on ISIL in al-Safa region that is the last main base of the terrorists in Sweida.

ISIL has suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware has sustained major damage in recent clashes in the region.

The army is reinvigorating its combat capabilities around al-Safa because of the rough geography of the region which has made it hard to surmount.

Deir Ezzur

The US Army forwarded a large volume of military hardware to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir Ezzur, a medial outlet reported on Monday.

Lebanon's Arabic-language al-Nashra reported that the US-led coalition has dispatched more military equipment to the SDF-held regions near the town of al-Hosseiniyeh in Northern Deir Ezzur.

In the meantime, a number of SDF fighters were injured after a bomb planted in their vehicle went off near the village of al-Shanan in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.

Also, two SDF militants were killed and several more were wounded in a roadside bomb blast on a road connecting Hasaka to Deir Ezzur.

Idlib

Rift are widening among terrorist groups as the Syrian army prepares to launch a major offensive in Idlib province at any moment, Arab media outlets said Monday.

The Arabic-language a-Watan daily quoted sources affiliated to terrorists of the National Liberation Front as disclosing that the Front fighters do not trust Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and will possibly abandon them in the upcoming battle with the government forces.

It went on to say that Tahrir al-Sham has vowed to support its allies, including Jeish al-Izzah and al-Turkistani Islamic Party in Northern Hama and Northeastern Lattakia, while it has now focused on saving its non-Syrian and Arab members.

The daily further pointed to growing rifts in the terrorist front, adding that the militants do not believe in each other, accusing each other that they have already endorsed peace agreement with the Syrian army in covert action similar to the agreements that they had signed with Damascus to retreat from their earlier positions in Homs, Eastern Ghouta and Southern provinces when they lost battles.

Aleppo

Two more attacks on the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) by unidentified raiders were reported in the town of Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo on Monday.

A number of the SDF members, including a commander, were injured after a bomb planted in their vehicle of Manbij Military Council went off near al-Jazeera square in the town of Manbij.

They further said that another bomb went off on the way of the SDF militias near the Power Company in Manbij, injuring several gunmen.

In the meantime, the SDF threatened in a statement that the youth would be arrested and fined unless they join the SDF voluntarily.
